Question 1

Is REPcount a fitness tracker app?

Accepted Answer

Yes — and unlike most fitness tracker apps, REPcount actually counts your reps for you. While standard trackers wait for you to log each set by hand, REPcount uses your phone's camera and motion detection to watch you work out and count every squat, push-up, sit-up, bicep curl and more — automatically. No tapping, no guessing, no cheating yourself.

Question 2

How is REPcount different from other workout tracker apps?

Accepted Answer

Most workout tracker apps are glorified spreadsheets — they ask you to log your reps manually. REPcount flips that. It sees you move, verifies your form, and counts reps in real time. You get a motion-tracking fitness tracker built for bodyweight exercises at home, no equipment required.

Question 3

Can REPcount replace my current fitness tracker?

Accepted Answer

For bodyweight strength training, yes. Traditional fitness trackers focus on steps, distance, and heart rate — useful for cardio, useless for counting reps. REPcount fills that gap: automatic rep counting and form verification for the exercises most trackers ignore.

Question 4

Do I need a smartwatch or fitness band?

Accepted Answer

No. REPcount only needs your phone. Set it on the floor at a slight angle, start your workout, and motion detection does the rest. No wearable, no gym membership, no equipment.

Question 5

What exercises does REPcount track?

Accepted Answer

REPcount tracks a growing list of bodyweight exercises — squats, push-ups, sit-ups, bicep curls, triceps, lunges, glute bridges, lateral squats, lying leg raises, plank and more — with new exercises added regularly. Plus daily step tracking.

Question 6

How does the motion detection work?

Accepted Answer

Place your phone on the floor at a slight angle. The camera uses motion detection to detect your body position, draw pose lines, and count reps automatically. It verifies proper form so there's no cheating.
